Juliette Lamb

Bio

Juliette Lamb lives in Burlington with husband Scott and had two daughters. Amelia graduated King’s in 2013. The sculpture on the front lawn of the school is in memory of daughter Erika who attended King’s until her passing in 2015. The family is a member of Brant Hills Presbyterian Church. Juliette is employed with Halton Conservation Authority.

Gordon Shin

Bio

Gordon Shin and his wife, Michele Murphy, live in Burlington with their son Carter (King’s Alumnus). Gord owns and manages a Third-Party IT company based in Mississauga servicing a wide range of small to medium-sized businesses. The Shin/Murphy family attends St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Burlington.

Nikola Blair

Bio

Nikola Blair is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Business Management Communications at Scan Consulting Group. She is the founder and CEO of Act On It Therapies, where she specializes in children, teens, family and couples creative Arts Therapy and clinical psychotherapeutic Drama therapy. Her work also includes intercultural therapy that incorporates an ethnological and intercultural approach. She is an active Board Member for Halton Elementary schools, where her latest collaboration with Halton Education and Police Services assists in the development of their Inclusion Diverse Anti Racism Equitable service delivery. She has three daughters, with her eldest, Nevaeh, in Grade 12 at King’s.

Christy Mack

Bio

Christy Mack and her husband live in Burlington with their four children: Lauren (King’s Alumna); Jacob (King’s Alumnus), Daniel (King’s, Grade 11) and Clara who attends a Christian elementary school. Christy’s background is in education, teaching for both the Toronto and Thames Valley District School Boards. She’s also held the role of VP and Learning Resource Teacher in the Christian elementary school system. She now enjoys working as an educational consultant working with and advocating for children and families. The Macks are members of Faith Christian Reformed Church.

John Wilkening

Bio

John Wilkening and his wife Lea live in Oakville with their children Jack (2023 King’s graduate) and Josh (Grade 11 at King’s). John and his family moved to Canada in 2011 from Chicago. John works in finance for Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited. The Wilkening family worships at Clearview Christian Reformed Church in Oakville.

David Klassen

Bio

David Klassen and his wife Karen live in Mississauga with their son Ben, who graduated from King’s in 2017. Their daughter, Erica, is a Nova Scotia paramedic. David is a corporate lawyer with Axiom and works as a consultant to local and international businesses and not-for-profit organizations. The Klassens are active members of Clarkson Community Church, where Karen serves as Discipleship Pastor.

Bruce Sonnenberg

Bio

Bruce Sonnenberg and his wife Sandy live in Oakville with their children Jaedon (King’s graduate, 2019). Larissa (King’s graduate, 2021) and Savannah (Grade 11 at King’s) and have been members of King’s since 2014. Bruce is Vice President and District Manager with PCL Constructors Canada Inc., responsible for district operations in the GTA and southwestern Ontario. The Sonnenberg family worships at the Church of God in Hamilton.

Paul Hogan

Bio

Paul and Christa live in Oakville with their three daughters: Grace (Grade 10 at King’s), Emma (Starting King’s in Fall 2022) and Claire (Grade 6 at St. Mary). Originally from Montreal, Paul had the privilege of a Jesuit Education at Loyola High School. He has lived in Ottawa, Calgary, and Toronto. Today he leads Conagra Brands Canada and holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. The family attends St. Matthew’s Parish in Oakville.

Jill Henderson McDermott

Bio

Jill Henderson McDermott and her husband Bryan live in Oakville with their children. Their son Alton is a King’s graduate (2019). They have two other children, a daughter Brynley and son Logan. Jill is an artist and interior designer in commercial and retail design. She received her BAA in Interior Design from Ryerson University. Jill has her own company in.originate. The McDermott family attends Trinity Anglican Church in Streetsville.
