King's Campus

The ever-expanding campus at King’s is conveniently situated at the southwest corner of Burnhamthorpe Rd. and Neyagawa Blvd. in north Oakville, just seconds from the 407. Bright, spacious classrooms and labs are complemented by an art studio, two multi-purpose gymnasiums and a fully-equipped fitness studio.

The outside campus boasts a picturesque pond, outdoor seating areas, and a multi-purpose artificial-turf athletics field, complete with electronic score board, dugouts for baseball, and bleachers.

The entire campus is fully accessible to those with mobility challenges and includes two elevators.

These stunning features are enjoyed by staff and students, and are available to the public for rental.

Technology

At King’s, we seek out innovative approaches to teaching and learning. SmartBoard and Promethean technology, in particular, have impacted how teachers plan and deliver lessons. This technology allows students to be engaged visually. Notes are saved electronically and sent to students by end of day. We also recognize that not all technology can be used effectively in the classroom. It is the expert teacher who plans lessons with students in mind, and then decides how and if technology will be an effective tool for the class activity. Every classroom is equipped with a Front Row sound system to enhance the auditory experience of each student.

Cafeteria & Nutrition

The King’s Cafeteria operates every school day, providing hot, healthy meals and snacks to staff, students and visitors.

Open daily for breakfast before school begins, the King’s Cafe offers muffins, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, milk, juice and other breakfast items.

Lunch is a welcome break midday, as everyone anticipates Dana Hospitality’s daily offerings, made fresh on the premises. Daily selections always include fresh sandwiches, wraps, several kinds of pizza, a hot entree (complete with potato and vegetable), a vegetarian option, soup, individually prepared vegetable or fruit salads and leafy green salad. All food is prepared on site using the freshest ingredients of the highest quality, usually locally sourced.

Dining Meal Plan Payment Cards:

In partnership with Dana Hospitality, students are able to use their King’s student card for all cafeteria purchases.
